Patrick is a Florida-licensed and state-certified building contractor with three decades of experience and a passion for homes of exceptional quality. Having built and developed hundreds of residential and commercial properties throughout Florida and Connecticut, Patrick has built a reputation for his unique hands-on approach, his commitment to client satisfaction, and the finest results in the marketplace. Ensuring that the Seaward team delivers the highest value in all areas of home building to our customers is Patrick’s primary focus with the goal of long-term relationships. Patrick loves spending time with his family and children, attending school sports activities and boating.
Matt, is a Sarasota native and graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Building Construction, with continuing education in Strategic Leadership from Columbia University and Real Estate Development from Cornell University. Matt provides leadership for the overall organization with a focus on operational excellence. With a 20-year career in Construction Management, providing executive leadership, and client advocacy on some of the largest and most complex construction projects in Southwest Florida, encompassing 5.5 million square feet and over $1.5 billion in construction value, Matt brings invaluable experience to our team and clients. Matt has longstanding local trade partner relationships and is hands-on with each of our projects related to preconstruction, quality, schedule management and budget control. Matt is on the Advisory Board for the USF Sarasota-Manatee Muma College of Business, and he and his wife Kaitlyn are founding Board Members of the local non-profit Bridge a Life, which provides awareness and support for foster and adoptive families. Matt enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and four children.
Karl grew up in the Sarasota area and is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Building Construction and obtained his MBA from the University of South Florida. Karl has 20+ years’ experience in the construction industry starting his career managing high-end custom homes on our local barrier islands. Karl then oversaw large local construction projects including the new Riverview High School and was the Quality Manager for the state of Florida for one of the largest construction companies in the country. Karl expanded his expertise of building sciences, supporting 25+ construction companies across the country with quality control, best practices, strategic planning, value stream mapping and risk assessments. With an emphasis on critical building systems such as structure, exterior envelope, MEP’s and civil engineering, Karl’s technical experience provides a unique value to the Seaward team and clients. Karl brings a tireless work ethic and desire for perfection in everything we do. In addition to project management, Karl collaborates with design and trade partners to provide proactive solutions resulting in the highest quality for our homeowners. Karl is a Florida Licensed General Contractor, ASQ Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence, LEED AP (US Green Building Council Accredited Professional), and CRIS certification (Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist). In his free time Karl enjoys scuba diving, paddle boarding and following his favorite sports teams.
Tom has over 35 years of home building experience, and for the past 8 years, Tom has supervised and managed over 100 high-end custom homes in the Sarasota area. Tom’s responsibilities include field management and supervision with a focus on safety, trade coordination, scheduling, and quality control. Tom especially enjoys building relationships with our trade partners and ensuring that our client’s vision is exceeded during the construction process. When not working hard, Tom enjoys quality time with family, fishing, golf and spending time at our beautiful local beaches.
Kevin has been supervising the construction of custom homes for 35 years, having raised his two sons with his wife in Sarasota. Kevin’s responsibilities include field management and supervision with a focus on trade coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety Kevin especially enjoys the relationships he establishes with the homeowners and trade partners and considers handing over the keys to the homeowner an honor. Kevin describes the custom home building process like a beautiful painting, where people can appreciate for generations to come. Outside of work, Kevin loves fishing, boating, barefoot water skiing, football, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Steven has been an integral part of the Seaward team for 6 years, leading our client engagement process, providing project updates and selection management ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for every homeowner. He takes great pride in delivering a white-glove service that leaves a lasting impression on each and every client. Steven is a fabulous collaborator, supporting our home building team in a number of areas including quality control, design coordination, field supervision, photo documentation and marketing. Originally from England, Steven moved to the US for college before relocating to Sarasota to join the Seaward Homes team. Steven enjoys spending time with family, traveling, playing golf and watching soccer.
Paige has lived in the Sarasota area for 10 years and has worked in the construction industry for 4 years. Paige supports the Seaward team in several areas including project administration, trade contracting, accounting, lien release management, permitting, and office management. Paige loves seeing and being an integral part of the behind-the-scenes process of coordinating with trade partners, materials and equipment that culminates in the remarkable homes that we build. Paige attended Bayside College and is an avid sports fan, especially cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers.
Christian grew up locally attending Manatee High School. Upon graduation, Chrisitan began as a carpenter’s apprentice and developed into a skilled framing and finish trim carpenter. With 10 years experience performing custom carpentry on high-end homes on our local barrier islands, Christian brings valuable hands-on craftsmanship for Seaward and our clients. Christian’s areas of responsibility include vendor coordination, layout, quality control, safety and carpentry oversight. Christian enjoys spending time with his wife, Angelina, traveling, boating, fishing, sand bar hopping, and building custom woodworking.
